IT Support Specialist
Arizona Livescan is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist located in the Metro Phoenix area. Candidates should possess technical and mechanical skills to support hardware installations, network troubleshooting/install, maintenance, and repairs. Candidates should also demonstrate exemplary communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the setup and configuration of various computer peripherals
- Configure and maintain user profiles within a Windows workgroup environment
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laser printers
- Apply critical updates and patches on schedule, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
- Manage and resolve incoming IT support tickets while managing priority levels
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of fingerprinting stations located statewide
- Effectively prioritize, route and plan day based on stats, service calls, field change orders, geography and other tasks assigned by your manager.
- Provide training and support to staff on new systems and technologies
- Properly manage and secure all assigned kiosks and company assets such as car, voucher paper, phone, laptop, parts, tools, phone, etc.
- Promote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of personal appearance, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment.
- Demonstrate good judgment in time management, route planning, efficiency and expense control.
- Interface effectively with various teammates throughout the company to resolve customer problems and situations.
- Assist with various tasks and responsibilities as assigned, providing flexibility and support across multiple areas.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years proven IT experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding and demonstrated business-level support for Microsoft-related technologies (Windows 11, Office Suite, O365, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)
- Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and security principles.
- Certifications in CompTIA A , Microsoft 365, or similar.
- High school or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in computer science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, experience, and certifications.
Skills:
- Effective communication; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical proficiency in IT systems and infrastructure
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Work conditions, Physical and Other Requirements:
- Office desk-based work with extensive use of a computer.
- Requires travel within the state in a company vehicle.
- Requires lifting of equipment, not exceeding 50 pounds.
- Capable of reaching and working above head
- Capable of kneeling, bending, laying under cabinets/tables
- Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and an excellent driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
