Position Details
- Position: Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant
- Employment: Temporary, approximately 6 months
- Schedule: Part-time
- Location: Prescott, Arizona
- Hours: Approximately 20–30 hours per week, depending on practice needs
Responsibilities
The Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant will work closely with our naturopathic physicians and clinical team to help keep patient care running smoothly.
Responsibilities may include:
- Rooming patients and obtaining/documenting vital signs and medical histories
- Preparing examination rooms and ensuring supplies are stocked
- Scribing/documenting patient visits accurately and updating patient records
- Assisting physicians with clinical documentation and orders
- Preparing patients for procedures and treatments
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Assisting with patient follow-up and communication
- Entering and updating patient information in the electronic medical record
- Reviewing charts and helping physicians prepare for patient visits
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
- Assisting with front-office or administrative tasks when needed
- Providing exceptional, compassionate patient service
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements
- Working collaboratively with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff

Previous medical assisting, medical scribing, phlebotomy, or clinical experience is strongly preferred.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
