Position Overview
Arizona First Class Cleaning is seeking detail-oriented, reliable Independent Contractor Inspectors to support our STR Turnover Process. Inspectors play a critical role in ensuring each property meets our high standards for cleanliness and guest readiness following each cleaning service.
This role focuses on quality control inspections immediately after cleaners depart, communication of any deficiencies, and periodic inventory restocking of properties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Post-Cleaning Inspections
- Conduct inspections of STR properties immediately after cleaners complete service
- Score each property using Arizona First Class Cleaning’s inspection checklist and standards
- Ensure the home is fully guest-ready, including cleanliness, staging, and presentation
- Take clear photos to document condition and any issues
2. Quality Control & Communication
- Identify any cleaning deficiencies or missed items
- Communicate promptly with Arizona First Class Cleaning regarding units requiring re-clean
- Provide detailed, objective feedback to support continuous improvement
- Verify that re-cleans are completed to standard when required
3. Monthly Restocking
- Perform restocking of supplies at each property:
- Typically once per month
- May increase to twice per month during peak seasons
- Ensure homes are properly stocked with required guest and cleaning essentials
- Track inventory needs and report shortages
Compensation Structure
- Flat fee per completed inspection
- Flat fee per restocking visit
- Additional compensation may be available for re-inspections or urgent visits (as applicable)
Independent Contractor Requirements
- Must operate as an independent contractor (1099)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a smartphone capable of taking photos and submitting reports
- Must be responsive and able to communicate in a timely manner
- Must be available to perform inspections within required turnover windows
