We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our busy practice.
Role Description
- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms.
- Obtain and document patient medical histories, including allergies and current medications.
- Assist physicians in examination, procedures such as taking biopsies, and surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Educate patients about skincare, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
- Provide information on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up care.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of medical instruments.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting with dermatology-specific treatments
Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical setting required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient care.
- Experience with medical documentation, managing patient records, and performing administrative tasks
- Proficiency in sterilizing instruments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe, clean clinical environment
- Knowledge or experience in dermatology is preferred
- Ability to multitask, adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment, and work collaboratively with clinical staff

Pay
