We are seeking the best Islamic educator talent to lead Arizona Cultural Academy to become a modern Daycare through grade 12 private Islamic school.

Job Summary:
The School Facility Helper supports the daily operations, cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance of school buildings and grounds. This role assists the facilities team in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas if needed
- Support setup and breakdown of rooms for school events, meetings, and activities
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting maintenance issues
- Help maintain outdoor areas including playgrounds, walkways, and parking lots
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Assist with waste removal and recycling as needed
- Monitor school premises for safety hazards and report concerns promptly
- Support custodial and maintenance staff with special projects
- Follow all school safety procedures and policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or maintenance experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
