Lead BAS / Controls Installer (Commercial Electrical)

Arizona Control Specialists is hiring a Lead Controls Installers with a strong electrical background to run commercial BAS / HVAC controls installations in the Arizona market.
This role is for someone who knows electrical work, understands commercial construction, and can lead installs in the field, not just pull wire.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead installation of low-voltage HVAC controls and BAS systems
- Perform and oversee electrical terminations: controllers, panels, relays, transformers, sensors, actuators
- Read, interpret, and execute work from electrical drawings, control schematics, and mechanical plans
- Coordinate daily install activities and guide junior installers
- Ensure installations are code-compliant, clean, labeled, and done right the first time
- Support startup, checkout, and troubleshooting
- Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and quality standards
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong electrical experience required (commercial or industrial)
- Commercial construction experience required
- Hands-on experience with low-voltage control wiring and terminations
- Ability to independently read and work from drawings
- Comfortable leading work in the field without constant supervision
- Reliable, punctual, professional
This is not an entry-level position and not residential work.
Ideal Background
- 5 years as a commercial electrician, BAS installer, or HVAC controls technician
- Experience leading crews or acting as a go-to installer
- Familiarity with DDC controls and BAS platforms
- Knowledge of BACnet / Modbus networks
- Experience with manufacturers such as Delta, JCI, Siemens, Trane, Honeywell, Distech
- Bluebeam or AutoCAD markup experience
