Arizona College if currently seeking a part time Lab Assistant for our Pharmacy Technician Program here at our Mesa, AZ Campus!
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 800am-1230pm

The Lab Assistant supports student academic success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions.

The Lab Assistant supports student academic success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions.
- Works in conjunction with the Program Director and instructor to coordinate instructional lab sessions.
- Assists students with hands-on lab sessions.
- Assists instructors with instructional components of lab sessions.
- Educates students on proper hazardous waste disposal and ensures storage and disposal align with OSHA and campus safety protocols.
- Enforces lab safety codes in all lab areas to assure student and colleague safety.
- Communicates professionally with the Program Director regarding laboratory maintenance and supply inventory for restocking and ordering.
- Efficiently sets up and breaks down lab sessions.
- Performs assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks according to established practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner and with minimal supervision.

Must have
- Certificate or Diploma in Dental Assisting preferred (not required).
- Working knowledge of dental materials, equipment and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to support students in an encouraging and supportive manner.
- Prior experience in a dental office or clinical setting.
- Teaching experience in secondary education.
- CPR certification.
