What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Middle School Math Intervention position at Arizona Charter Academy?
We are seeking experienced educators looking for a part time flexible schedule and want to give back and make a difference in the academic outcomes of students.
This position works with Middle School Math in grades 5th, 6th and 8th. The schedule for this position is as follows:
Monday: 9:15-1:30pm
Tuesday-Friday 8am-1:30pm
Our academic intervention specialist will:
-meet in small groups of 12-14 as assigned of students to support our math curriculum.
-serves as a resource for teachers in the areas of math
-collaborates with administrators and staff to further school-wide math goals
-additional responsibilities as assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
-Enthusiasm for supporting academic success of all learners;
-Receptiveness to feedback
-Ability to approach situations with optimism and perseverance
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Must have a degree in education, math or other applicable area.
-valid IVF fingerprint clearance card (we can help you obtain)
Benefits:
This position will received Arizona State Retirement at 11.98% matching employer funds.
Will Accrue PTO
