Summary:
The Lead PT’s Attendant ensures exceptional front counter service at PT’s Express Outlets by taking orders, managing preparation accuracy, and coordinating with the team for efficiency. This role also oversees the point-of-sale system and trains new team members, assists with inventory, fostering high service standards and smooth operations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, and development of departmental employees.
Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery
Maintain knowledge of all menu items and individual options, take orders accurately, prepare and serve items to the guests
Maintain Food and Beverage supplies to include to go items and cutlery, bottled sodas and assist Chef on Duty with orders from the warehouse for FOH operations
Prepare all dishes following recipes and yield guides, according to department standards
Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements
Transport empty, dirty pots and pans to the main kitchen station
Breakdown work station and complete closing duties according to department standards

Manage cash bank, ensuring balance is accurate at the end of the shift
Ensure adequate POS supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes and receipt paper
Retain receipts for all transactions, and records and reconciles transactions on the point of sale system
Maintain general cleanliness of assigned work station and dining room to include sanitation of tables, chairs, trays and sweeping
Conduct new hire training, review cashier procedures, comp and cash handling as well as cook training and spec/recipe training with new hires
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, is they apply to the position
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous cash handling and guest service experience
6 months of previous experience working in high volume, fast-paced restaurant or cashiering environment preferred
Prior experience with POS systems preferred
Previous experience working in a team or group environment
Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal
Basic computer skills preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
