The Arizona Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ACBVI) is seeking an experienced Adjustment to Disability Specialist to join our outstanding team of professionals who are committed to serving adults that have recently lost their vision and/or vision & hearing achieve independence and return to work. ACBVI is very much an agency driven by the fact that our clients don't care how much you know until they know how much you care- i.e. we lead with our passion and follow-up with our skills. Your compassionate approach will help advance our mission by providing our clients with counseling to help them adjust to their disabilities, including blindness, visual impairment, combined vision and hearing loss and DeafBlind.

Specifically, we are looking for someone who has at least 6 months of experience providing Adjustment to Disability counseling to adults who have recently lost their vision. The proper candidate will have a can-do attitude and also possess a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling or Social Work, a Commission of Rehabilitation Counseling Certification (CRCC), is a CVRT or CLVS certified by ACVREP, or has a NCRTB.

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity that requires passing both a State and Federal (FBI) background check.

Pay: $22.25 - $25.96 per hour
