Key Responsibilities
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform expert-level troubleshooting and repairs on 500-ton air-cooled chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, and water treatment systems.
System Monitoring: Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor, alarm, and tune environmental systems, ensuring optimal temp/humidity for IT equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to increase energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Leadership & Stewardship: Mentor junior technicians, promote a safe working environment, and maintain meticulously clean mechanical rooms.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Extensive experience (5 years) in a critical, high-availability, 24x7 data center environment.
Deep working knowledge of 500-ton air-cooled chillers, DX units, and CRAC/CRAH systems.
Strong experience with building automation systems and troubleshooting complex mechanical failures.
