Principal Consultant

Job responsibilities include:
· Experience in the IT industry and working with offshore development companies in a similar capacity will be an advantage.
· Planning and delivering software development projects
· Understanding and documenting business requirements,
· develop & document specifications for develops / development team,
· communicating the requirements to the developers/development team
· coordinating and tracking development through daily interaction with the developer/development team
· perform testing and ensuring the developed solutions meet the documented business requirements.
· Gather feedback from end-users about system performance.
· Good English writing /speaking skills are essential for success.
· Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
· Self-motivated to learn new technologies and software applications.
· Good understanding of IT components like Databases, Software Frameworks, Applications, Security, Testing Tools,
· Knowledge of Software development lifecycle, best practices

• Programmer who has grown into the role of a project manager
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript will be a big PLUS
• experience with BigCommerce eCommerce platform

Resources should have five years or more experience with eCommerce project management

Candidates must be responsive to our clients and provide prompt updates on project activities and raise any issues or risks; Actively monitor email and messages;

Inherently organized and staying on top of all the projects assigned; Aptitude for learning eCommerce solutions and ability to provide inputs to the development teams on the client requirements;

Preferable Experience - good understanding of eCommerce solutions, BigCommerce, Magento, Shopify,

Working hours: we are flexible when the hours are spent due to global project delivery teams requiring interaction during late evening or early morning hours; e.g., we can work 2 hours in the morning, log off, then work another 4 hours in the afternoon and then work 2 hours a late evening. However, the resource must plan and attend any client status calls scheduled by the project coordinator.

Location: Remote; we do expect periodic face-to-face interaction
