Functions Of The Position
- Safely set up and operate a punch press and other punching, notching, or cutting equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job travelers.
- Ability to measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure.
- Ability to calculate decimals and fractions figures.
- Ability to stack completed parts properly on carts and tables.
- Have a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility.
- Good attendance.
- Must have the ability to work as a team.
- Organizational skills are a must.
- Ability to ensure proper use of PPE.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
- Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate well.
- Prior factory experience in operating punch presses, saws, or other punching/notching equipment is a plus.
