Aristos Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Director of Respiratory Therapy to oversee all aspects of the respiratory program within the facility.
This role ensures that high-quality respiratory therapy is delivered in compliance with state, federal and accrediting body regulations. The Director provides leadership to the respiratory team, manages departmental operations and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Duties and responsibilities:
Plan, develop and direct all respiratory therapy programs and services.
Supervise, train and evaluate respiratory therapists and support team
Assist in establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Manage departmental budget and staffing levels
Collaborate with IDT and physicians to implement appropriate respiratory care plans
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed
Serve as a clinical resource for staff and participate in educational opportunities
Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist
Preferred SNF/LTC experience
