Job description:
The Regional Sales Manager, Pacific Northwest will play a vital role in our National Sales team, driving growth and market penetration for Ariston Group within a specific geographic region. This individual will be a key player in expanding our brand presence and achieving sales goals for our full line of residential & commercial water heaters, including gas, electric, and heat pump technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive sustainable growth, increase market share, and meet profitability targets. This includes in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.
- Manage Manufacturer's Representatives: Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Manufacturer's Reps. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Cultivate Key Relationships: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with national, regional and independent wholesale distributors, independent dealers, contractors, builders, and specifiers. Act as a trusted advisor, promoting Ariston Group's value proposition and new product offerings.
- Drive Flow Good and Project Business: This role is responsible for securing both day-to-day wholesale flow business and project-based opportunities. You will work with distribution partners to ensure product availability and drive regular sales, while also identifying and securing large-scale projects with builders, developers, and institutional clients.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams, including Leadership, Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, Technical Services, and Customer Care, to ensure a seamless sales process from prospecting to post-sale support.
- Performance and Reporting: Monitor regional sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the National Sales Director. Utilize CRM and other tools to manage the sales pipeline and track progress against goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of outside sales or business development experience in the water heating, hydronics, or HVAC industry. Proven track record of managing regional distribution accounts and building down-channel relationships with contractors.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to create and execute effective sales strategies, leveraging a deep understanding of our products to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a history of building strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software for sales reporting, proposal development, and pipeline management.
- Independent and Organized: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.
This is a remote position that reports directly to the National Sales Director.
