Summary:
This hybrid role supports both classroom care activities and transportation needs of the center. The Room Assistant/Driver helps provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and assists with transport before and/or after program hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers and nurses with daily room activities.
- Assist with child supervision, engagement, and hygiene needs.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Drive center vehicle for pick-up/drop-off routes as assigned.
- Ensure safe loading/unloading of children.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Valid NJ driver’s license; clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, assist, and support children as needed.
