What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Of Rehab position at AristaCare Health Services?
Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Implement guidelines for rehabilitation programs - physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other therapies.
Develop and carry out policies and procedures pertaining to staffing and budget
Ensure all staff members are following guidelines for patient care and safety.
Review patient cases to determine eligibility for treatment services
Monitor treatment and progress of patients.
Establish timetable for patient goals to be reached
Participate in case review with other team members to make sure the patient's plan of care is progressing as expected
Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
Resolve escalated issues arising from operations that require coordination with other departments.
Recommend hiring of new staff members to fill vacancies in the department
Training staff member on topics such as communication skills or conflict resolution techniques.
Requirements
:
Bachelor Degree and PT/OT license in New Jersey
1-2 years of Supervisory or Management experience
Experience In a Nursing Facility Preferred
