What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activities Aide position at AristaCare Health Services?
The Activity Aide helps to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual activity programs of the facility. Observe residents progress, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in recreation within a geriatric or healthcare setting.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents and facility staff.
- Strong communication skills
- Patience and empathy
- Creativity and initiative
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Comfortable working with elderly, sick, or individuals with special needs
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment for extended periods
- Flexible availability preferred
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Memory Care is a plus
