Arise is a vertically integrated multifamily real estate company. For over a decade we've operated apartments from the inside out — today overseeing approximately 3,000 units across 25 communities through a single platform spanning acquisitions, asset management, property management, accounting, maintenance, investor relations, and resident engagement.

That operating depth has given us a rare, ground-level view of the inefficiencies that define this industry — and a clear conviction about how to fix them.

The Opportunity

We're building what we believe can fundamentally transform the real estate industry, and we're looking for a technical leader to join us as CTO.

Over the past year we've developed a vision for how multifamily real estate will be owned, operated, and managed in a world where human capital co-exists with the emerging concept of token capital. We believe the existing B2B SaaS model is approaching the end of its lifecycle, and we intend to build what comes next. The targeted product is not an extension of legacy SaaS systems, and not another B2B software.

Arise has begun developing, testing, and validating key components. We have direct customer access, proprietary operational data, and real-world workflows that create a strong foundation for a category-defining platform. We're now seeking a technical architect to help build and scale it.

Expectations

• Own the technical vision, architecture, and execution of the platform from the ground up
• Design and build AI agent systems — harness architecture, multi-agent orchestration, and open/closed-loop workflows
• Architect enterprise-scale data infrastructure: data warehousing, agent memory systems
• Establish the cloud foundation, security model, and engineering practices to scale from inception through growth
• Partner directly with two highly involved founders on product design, customer discovery, and strategy
• Recruit and lead the engineering team as we grow

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency across the stack: TypeScript, Python, SQL, C#
• Skilled in project management, organization, and execution
• AI agent harness architecture and multi-agent systems design
• Experience discerning the need for deterministic solutions vs. agentic solutions
• Open/closed-loop agent workflows and orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex)
• Sophisticated, working understanding of LLMs
• Structured agent memory systems
• Data warehousing and enterprise-scale data architecture
• RAG, vector databases, and semantic search
• Cloud infrastructure design
• Strong SQL and database engineering skills
• Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms from inception through growth
• Well-connected in the technology industry to source talent

Preferred Qualifications

• Modern frontend frameworks — sufficient to guide product decisions
• Cybersecurity, permissions, and enterprise governance

Compensation

This is a startup CTO role with significant upside. $150,000–$250,000 salary profit-sharing.
