Responsibilities
- Lead the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform precise repairs on complex elevator machinery.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior technicians, providing guidance on technical tasks and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance visits, explain repair processes, and address customer concerns professionally.
- Document all service activities thoroughly in maintenance logs and reports for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Qualifications
- 4 Years Proven experience in elevator maintenance and repair with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Skilled in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting engineering troubleshooting guides.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, industrial mechanics, and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot elevator issues efficiently using electrical work expertise and mechanical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with building code requirements related to elevator installation and maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Prior experience working with schematics, electrical systems, and interpreting technical drawings is highly desirable.
- Valid certification or licensing as an elevator technician or equivalent is preferred; ongoing training encouraged.
