Self-Direction DSP - Baldwinsville Area (Job #ES/KT)
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Baldwinsville, near the Radisson community.
Shifts needed:
Week nights 4pm to 10pm, Applicants don’t have to be available for all evenings but being flexible to help cover is a huge plus for occasional schedule changes.
AND
Weekends Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm
She requires total assistance with activities of daily life due to a physical disability and always utilizes an electric wheelchair both in the home and community. The individual is looking for reliable, compassionate and responsible staff to assist her with maintaining her independence both at home and in the community. Some responsibilities include... assisting with Personal Care, Light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, taking her to some medical appointments and other activities in the community.
She has an indoor cat that lives in the home and is very important to her. She is a huge SU fan, lover of sports and enjoys baking.
New hires will have training shifts on transfers using an electric sit-to-stand/track system. New hires must have a driver's license, as you will be driving her modified minivan in the community.
The current pay rate is $21.50
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time.
- Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Salary : $22
