Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The RBT is responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data on client progress, and ensuring therapy is delivered with fidelity, professionalism, and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA therapy to children in a clinic setting.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client performance and progress.
- Follow protocols for skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and safety management.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with the BACB code of ethics.
- Communicate effectively with BCBAs, caregivers, and team members regarding client progress.
- Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Assist with general clinic duties as assigned (materials prep, session notes, client support).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Ability to pass a Level II background check
- Reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and engage in physical play for extended periods up to 6-8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
- Ability to physically support clients when needed for safety.
Schedule & Compensation
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time; flexible shifts depending on client caseload and organizational need.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate; commensurate with experience.
