The Warehouse Utility primary job function is to containerize for shipment various water treatment chemicals. These chemicals range from strong acids and caustic to neutral pH polymers, coagulants, and filter precoats. The job requires unloading empty containers (55 gal. & 300 gal. typically) from tractor trailers, washout of containers, labeling of containers, filling of containers and special mixing (formulations) of some products.
Loading and unloading of tanker truck is needed several times each week.
Employee must successfully pass training exams as required by OSHA and DOT in subject areas such as hazardous communications, confined space, lock out tag out, fork lift training, respirator training and other areas including DOT hazardous material handling.
Employee must be physically fit and be capable of passing a drug and alcohol-screening test. Must be able to lift 50 lb. bags and have no work restrictions.
Must be able to wear a respirator when required (training is provided). For proper respirator fit no beard or goatee are allowed. OSHA requirement.
Good communication with office personnel required in order that Aries Chemical provides excellent customer service.
Other job functions include:
- Cleaning and organizing warehouse areas.
- Maintenance of chemical pumps, piping and filters is necessary.
- Adjusting pH of drum wash waters and operating filter press for water reuse.
- Repairing of chemical feed pumps.
- Conduct basic chemical analysis of blended products including pH, specific gravity. Collect retain samples from incoming bulk deliveries and our own custom blends.
- Conducting performance-oriented inspections and reconditioning of totes and drums per DOT requirements.
- Vehicle oil changes, Power washer maintenance, fork truck daily inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time, onsite position out of Beaver Falls, NY. Applicant must be able to work from the corporate office.
