What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Clerk position at Ariel Broadway Hotel?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer service driven individual with proven experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent.

We offer upper-midscale hotel accommodations in Lorain, Ohio for those away from home on business or leisure. As a boutique hotel, we offer our guests convenience, personalized service and luxury accommodations.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

-Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.

-Routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.

-Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.

-Ensure proper delivery of guest's special requests (i.e. extra pillows, additional preferences)

-Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make every appropriate service recovery gesture in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.

-Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, and counting/securing assigned bank.

-Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, and problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external guests.

-Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity while under pressure.

-Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments.

-Perform cleaning duties of common area spaces

-Perform laundry functions as needed

-Perform other duties as assigned

-Must be able to work independently

-Must have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour
