Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and dependable Per Diem Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, helping to create a welcoming and positive environment. This position requires flexibility to work the day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed to support the facility's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and accurately

• Provide information and assistance to residents, families, and visitors

• Manage visitor sign-in procedures and security protocols

• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries

• Maintain reception and lobby areas in a clean and organized manner

• Assist with clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry

• Schedule appointments and communicate messages

• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred

• Experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Ability to perform light clerical and office duties
