Position Summary |
We are looking for a Senior PE Associate to support all aspects of the private equity investment process, from adding value to portfolio companies, to sourcing, evaluating, financing, and completing new platform and add-on investments. This person will be expected to collaborate with a variety of functions throughout the organization. Position will be located in our NY office where we offer a hybrid work model. Experience and Qualifications
- Two years of relevant work experience; Private equity portfolio and/or fund administration experience is a plus
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA strongly preferred
- Client service experience required
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Must be a team player, willing to help other team members during peak volume periods
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual
- Ability to work independently
- Highly organized individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet client deadlines in an accurate manner
- Must be able to travel domestically 15-20% of the time.
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Knowledge of VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, and basic macro VBAs in Excel is a plus
