Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship to reduce loneliness and promote mental stimulation through engaging conversations and activities
- Prepare meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Support clients with medication reminders
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, or long-term care environments
- Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory care needs
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for client transfers or mobility assistance
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams
