Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be a vital part of creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents, ensuring their well-being and independence are prioritized. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ health by ensuring medication adherence, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained
- Support residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as down syndrome and autism.
- drop and pick up from adult day hab. (clients go monday -friday for 6 hours a day)
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal belongings
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document patient care activities/behaviors daily on brief note
Requirements
- Proven experience in home & community care settings, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
- Own a vehicle and able and willing to transport clients to and from day hab monday-friday
- Strong ability to observe patient conditions and respond swiftly to emergencies or changes in health status
- ability to assist clients with transfers if needed.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs is a highly preferred but not a must
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on the role’s responsibilities

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per month
