Description
The On-Site Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for the successful recruitment of Aria Community Health Center’s (ACHC) open positions and to create a pipeline for future hires. These positions include doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dentists, mental health providers, and other ACHC staff.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Source candidates via job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and through referrals.
- Research and attend job fairs and other recruitment opportunities to attract new talent.
- Creates postings for various platforms as well as other recruitment sources, including social media.
- Develops and provides information to candidates about ACHC (website, candidate information packets) and areas of interest of clinic locations and the surrounding towns (schools, community amenities, housing costs, etc.).
- Tracks recruitment metrics and resources costs; including job postings, ad placements, third party placement fees, analyzes effectiveness of postings, and submits monthly reports.
- Partners and provides regular updates and communications with administration to understand and identify recruitment immediate and future needs.
- Maintains the candidate tracking database reflecting open positions, interviews scheduled, conversation had, offers made or not made, offers accepted or not accepted, reasons for offers declined, etc.
- Coordinates and schedule interviews as needed.
- Follow-up with candidates post interview.
- Develops and maintains relationships with training institutions and placement coordinators to build the pipeline of candidates.
- Functions as an administrative resource for the management team on recruitment planning efforts and issues (prospecting and sourcing, mining, evaluation, and selection, offer negotiation, and other client management development activities, etc.).
- Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates; conducts initial screening and provides appropriate salary recommendations and solutions.
- Work with administration to define specific recruitment needs and plan the hiring process.
- Tracks loan repayment programs for participating providers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Able to establish rapport and effective working relationships with Administration and directors.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines.
- Must have the ability to develop alternative solutions to problems and be highly self-motivated.
- Able to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks.
- Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g., outlook, excel, word, and applicant tracking systems, such as HRIS.
- Must have excellent: interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.
- Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Must have knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to the recruitment and hiring process.
- Must be able to drive between sites.
- Must be persistent and persuasive.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a departmentally related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years recruiting experience, two of which must be in healthcare recruiting preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands associated with office work.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
Reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.
Ability to sit at a desk and car for a prolonged period of time.
The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds..
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
