This full-time role is responsible for advising and reviewing vision provider contracts being performed for Aria Care Partners to residents in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. This role works closely with contracted providers, Aria clinical staff, and nursing home teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. In addition to providing contractor support, this position also serves as oversight for clinical quality, new hire mentoring, and evaluating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for overall team performance.

This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and timely clinical decision-making while also supporting providers through contract review meetings. The Regional Advisor will maintain an active clinical practice while serving as a key clinical partner to the Chief Medical Officer on clinical policies, workflows, and standards of care.
This position requires standard working hours, travel for clinical training and oversight, and a minimum of two (2) days per week of in-person clinical responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead vision provider contract reviews across all assigned states, ensuring timely assessments and accurate documentation
- Effectively communicate assessment findings with individual contractors as well as identify necessary escalations to the Chief Medical Officer
- Evaluate and communicate monthly KPIs to individual contractors including areas of opportunity
- Travel to clinical sites to support new contractors and support staff, conduct contract performance evaluations, train clinical staff, and manage facility relationships
- Partner with Chief Medical Officer on standards of care, clinical workflow, and developing best practice policies and procedures
- Assist in the appropriate management of triage cases as assigned
- Identify quality trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; escalate findings and recommendations appropriately
- Promote consistent, high-quality clinical care delivery across all markets
- Maintain a minimum of two (2) days per week of in-person clinical responsibilities, modeling best practices in patient care and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical vision experience
- Experience with skilled nursing facility care strongly preferred
- Doctor of Optometry Degree required
- Prior experience in clinical leadership, quality assurance, auditing, or provider education preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage clinical escalations professionally
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to travel regularly and work in a multi-state clinical environment

- Substantial time can be spent walking, lifting/pushing up to 100 lbs
- Substantial time spent sitting at a computer
- Standard business hours with after-hours availability as needed
- Travel required, including overnight travel
