What You’ll Do
- Set up the mobile vision clinic before the doctor arrives
- Escort elderly patients (walking or in wheelchairs) to and from the exam area
- Assist with vision pre-testing and eyeglass handling
- Transcribe simple medical notes into our EMR system (training provided)
- Travel to local partner facilities within your assigned area (up to 3 hours)
- Mileage reimbursement and paid drive time for travel beyond normal commute
- Overnight lodging and meals provided if travel exceeds 2.5 hours
Who You Are
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Have 1 year of relevant experience — ideally in senior care or healthcare
- Physically able to assist patients or push wheelchairs (up to 200 lbs)
- Confident using a computer or tablet for basic medical note entry
- Professional in appearance and communication
- A steady, one-day-a-week schedule (Tuesdays)
- Mileage reimbursement paid drive time
- Partially remote work (from home during admin portions)
- Supportive training and access to all needed tools
