POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Administrator, the Business Office Manager manages all business functions and personnel including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident trust funds and other assigned duties. The Business Office Manager ensures the financial systems are accurate, efficient, and in accordance with professional accounting practices and government regulations.

Business Office Manager in a long-term care facility
This candidate will foster a cooperative team approach throughout the company and their work.
They will carry out duties and responsibilities for Accounts Receivable functions including:
Financial payment verifications (Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance) and doing daily Census
Medicaid billing and follow up, Handle Medicaid Redeterminations and other Medicaid paperwork requests.
Patient billing, deposits, and follow up for Private R&B and Personal Liability
Meet with residents and families to complete paperwork as needed.
Need to have knowledge of Medical Billing, especially familiarity with Medicaid in a long-term care environment.
Requirements:
1 years of experience in a Long-Term Care Facility or similar setting
Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting practices, and government regulations
Ability to foster a cooperative team approach throughout the organization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Salary : $55,000 - $85,000
