Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
- Continuously expand knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Stay updated on the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and practices
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and occupational health
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to create a comfortable and welcoming environment
- Proficiency in various massage techniques including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage
- Strong understanding of acute pain management and pain management techniques
- Ability to perform physical examinations to assess clients' conditions
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and educate clients on self-care practices
Requirements:
- Valid Massage Therapist license/certification in the state of Arizona
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Massage Therapist
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to massage therapy
