Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney–Family Law position based in San Jose, CA. The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, custody and visitation, support, and domestic violence cases, under the supervision and guidance of senior attorneys. Day-to-day responsibilities include client meetings, case assessment, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, declarations, and correspondence, as well as preparing discovery and reviewing financial disclosures. The role involves representing clients at hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations, and collaborating with firm partners and staff to develop case strategy and timelines. The attorney will also communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court, maintain accurate case files and deadlines, and contribute to a respectful, professional, and client-centered firm culture.

Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Law and demonstrated interest or experience in Family Law.
- Ability to analyze and address complex Family Law and related Legal Issues with sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Experience drafting and arguing Motions, including requests for orders, modifications, and related pleadings.
- Familiarity with preparing for and taking or defending Depositions, or a strong willingness to develop this skill under supervision.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with clear and professional communication style.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and commitment to ethical, client-focused representation.
- Prior family law or litigation experience (internships, clinics, clerkships, or practice) is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
