We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire Business Analyst (BillingCenter) with a minimum of 10 years of overall IT/Business Analysis experience and proven expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter. The candidate will play a critical role in bridging business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring smooth billing operations across policy, claims, and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation focused on Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Define and document billing workflows including invoicing, payments, commissions, write-offs, refunds, and reconciliations.
- Partner with business users to translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with technical teams to guide BillingCenter configuration, customization, and integrations with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and external systems (e.g., payment gateways, ERP/GL).
- Support test planning, test case design, and UAT execution for billing-related scenarios.
- Conduct workshops, walkthroughs, and provide ongoing support to business stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables meet compliance, audit, and reporting standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide leadership in backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
- 10 years of IT/Business Analysis experience, with at least 5 years in Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Strong expertise in P&C insurance billing processes: direct bill, agency bill, commissions, installments, payment plans, adjustments, and write-offs.
- Proven experience in end-to-end Guidewire BillingCenter implementations or upgrades.
- Strong understanding of integration points between BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and financial systems.
- Excellent documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, Process Flows, Data Mapping).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of multi-entity, multi-currency billing.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (BI/Analytics for billing).
