We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper in Newark, MD. This role is essential in maintaining the daily operations of our farm, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain mowers, weedwhackers, and trimmers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, including moving supplies and produce as needed.
- Maintain daily activities on the farm to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.
- Conduct equipment repairs on mowers, weedwhackers, and trimmers as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Utilize power tools for various farming tasks, ensuring safety measures are followed.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure crops receive an adequate water supply.
- Collaborate with team members to complete planting, harvesting, and other seasonal tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Familiarity with operating mowers, weedwhackers, trimmers, and other farm machinery is beneficial.
