Surgery Scheduler

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250 physicians in over 100 clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler. Experience in Otolaryngology preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

Pay: $21-27 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift

Duties

• Schedule surgical procedures for ENT providers across multiple surgical facilities.
• Review provider orders and verify all required documentation and authorizations.
• Communicate surgery dates, instructions, pre-op requirements, and follow-up plans to patients.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing and referrals as needed.
• Obtain and track insurance authorizations and verify patient coverage.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and update the EHR system.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, hospitals, and anesthesiology teams.
• Answer patient questions regarding preparation and recovery expectations.
• Ensure all surgical paperwork is complete and submitted within required timelines.
• Handle schedule changes, cancellations, and reschedules promptly and professionally.

• Previous surgery scheduling experience, required
• Experience in Otolaryngology, preferred
• Bilingual, required
