Healthcare Project & Marketing Assistant

Argus Medical Management is a physician practice management company that has served physician communities in the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas for 30 years. Argus Medical provides comprehensive billing and managements services which include contracting, credentialing, HR services, accounting, etc. to support Physicians in private practice.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift, 8:30am-5pm

Summary

Seeking a skilled Project & Marketing Assistant to support with special projects, marketing efforts, and business development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will work with internal teams and external partners to help achieve growth targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies across various channels.

• Serve as a special project and marketing assistant.
• Creating marketing materials.
• Support IPA membership growth and retention initiatives.
• Draft content for internal and external communications including newsletters, marketing collateral, case studies, and client engagement tools.
• Provide administrative and analytical tasks, including scheduling, research, and document preparation as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Marketing experience or training, with the ability to develop content and messaging that aligns with business goals.
• Understanding of IPA structures, Healthplans, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently under minimal supervision

Experience, Licenses, Certification and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in IPA management, HMO operations, or managed care. Broker experience a plus.
• Experience working in or with a Management Services Organization (MSO).
• Familiarity with healthcare marketing regulations and HIPAA compliance.
• Graphic design or visual content creation (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
