Key ResponsibilitiesControl System Design & DevelopmentPartner with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop automation control system solutions.Create detailed electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and supporting technical documentation.Programming & System ConfigurationDevelop and program PLCs (Allen-Bradley ControlLogix), HMIs, FANUC robots, and related control components to ensure optimal system functionality.Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial communication networks.System Integration & ValidationIntegrate control systems with conveyor systems and robotic equipment to ensure reliable communication and coordinated operation.Perform comprehensive testing, commissioning, and debugging to resolve system issues and verify performance.Installation & CommissioningOversee and support on-site installation efforts to ensure successful system startup.Provide hands-on technical support during system launch and early-stage deployment.Travel locally as needed for fieldwork and startup activities (minimal travel required).Documentation & TrainingDevelop thorough technical documentation for completed control systems.Train operators and maintenance personnel on system functionality and upkeep.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.Minimum of 5 years of experience working with industrial control systems.Strong proficiency in PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols.Experience with industrial networks, particularly EtherNet/IP.Background in control system design, including panel layout, field device integration, and component selection.Knowledge of industrial automation safety standards and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex automation issues.Preferred QualificationsExperience programming FANUC robots.Knowledge of motion control systems.Familiarity with machine vision systems.Experience using AutoCAD Electrical.Working knowledge of Python scripting.You should be proficient in:PLC Programming Experience
