ARG PETRO, a well-established wholesale fuel and lubricant company with over 82 years in the industry, is currently seeking Sales Representatives to support the growth of our refined fuel and lubricant programs. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in the refined fuel and lubricant industry or related sectors who can step in and contribute immediately. The Sales Representative will focus on business development, relationship management, and program promotion across branded and unbranded fuel offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing fuel and lubricant customers.
• Promote branded and unbranded fuel programs and related lubricant offerings.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach.
• Track customer interactions and manage sales activity using CRM platforms.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth
onboarding.
• Contribute to local marketing, merchandising, and promotional efforts.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
• Fuel industry experience strongly preferred, particularly with branded/unbranded fuel and
lubricant programs.
• 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B setting.
• Demonstrated success in new business development.
• Understanding of marketing and merchandising concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Experience using CRM platforms.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Heavy day travel and some overnight travel required.
Compensation:
• Depending on experience. (DOE)
