ARG Petro is seeking a driven and results-oriented Fleet Card Sales Representative to expand our customer base and fuel card program across Texas. The ideal candidate combines strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of fleet operations, fuel programs, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow the ARG Petro Fleet Card customer base across Texas.
- Identify and target prospective customers, including transportation companies, construction firms, delivery fleets, and fuel-intensive businesses.
- Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations to close new accounts.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for new accounts and fuel volume.
Account Management:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing fleet card clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Provide training and support to customers on account management, fuel controls, and reporting tools.
- Resolve customer inquiries quickly and effectively, ensuring a superior client experience.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Monitor market trends, competitor programs, and customer feedback to refine the ARG Fleet Card offering.
- Partner with marketing to develop promotional campaigns, referral incentives, and co-branded programs.
- Report weekly on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and regional opportunities.
Customer Engagement & Support Alignment:
- Partner with the customer service and credit teams to ensure seamless onboarding, account setup, and billing accuracy.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure customer needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Serve as the customer advocate by communicating feedback and enhancement ideas to leadership and internal teams.
- Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and brand loyalty.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fleet fuel, transportation, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of fleet card programs, fuel management, or transportation logistics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Travel required (50–70%).
