- Assists in achieving desired results through established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high-quality service. Monitor results through inspection, evaluation and analysis.
- Recommends changes in order to achieve and improve the end result.
- Safeguards the assets of the Company.
- Processes/prepares jackpots, fills and credits for table games.
- Prepares currency transaction reports and Daily Cash Summary sheet.
- Verifies vault accountability, credit line availability, establishes/deletes credit lines, and suspends check cashing and credit privileges as necessary.
- Processes credit applications, markers, and related transactions.
- Assists with collection activities, including outside collection agencies.
- Assist patrons in completing credit applications; verify I.D. and banking information.
- Assists with NSF payments, as needed.
- Supervises the duties and responsibilities associated with the impressment, drop, and reconciliation of redemption kiosks.
- Completes duties and responsibilities of cashiers and count team when essential in maintaining operational standards.
- Assists in establishing patron accounts.
- Approves manual adjustments to a patron’s account.
- Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of Argosy Casino Internal Control System.
- Responsible for staying current of knowledge and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Cage Department.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to the Cage Manager.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Responsible for supervising the daily activities of cage/count staff.
- Assists with staff development and training programs.
- Delivers constructive feedback to employees in order to coach and develop staff.
- Responsible for ensuring daily work procedures are followed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) in Accounting, Business, or related field; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
