Responsibilities
The primary role of the Portfolio Manager will be to collaboratively coordinate, deliver, and communicate investment management services to the individual, nonprofit, and corporate investment clients of Argent. The Portfolio Manager will have responsibility for construction and management of diversified investment portfolios using a variety of strategies and vehicles. Regular duties will include:
- Constructing, managing, and monitoring multi-asset portfolios for taxable and tax-exempt clients.
- Working with Relationship Managers to develop and document the appropriate investment objectives, asset allocation guidelines and appropriate investment strategies for clients.
- Conducting portfolio reviews and communicating results to clients.
- Performing rebalancing/trading analysis and execution for client portfolios.
- Regular and close communication with client service team.
- Communication of complicated investment concepts to a varied client base.
- Participation in business development meetings with Relationship Managers and Management.
- Working collaboratively with client relationship team, including other portfolio managers and analysts.
- Preparing and presenting multivariable financial plans to clients utilizing financial planning software.
- Serving from time to time on various internal investment decision-making committees.
Education and Experience
- 4 to 6 years related work experience preferred
- Undergraduate/Graduate, MBA degree, finance/economics preferred
- Excel, Word, Power Point proficiency preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates who hold the CFA designation program

This position will report to the Sr. Portfolio Manager over Texas.
