The Role
We are hiring a detail-oriented Bidding & Construction Estimator to run our preconstruction workflow. You will perform quantity takeoffs, build accurate bids, and work directly with subcontractors, vendors, and our project teams. Your work sets the foundation for every project we deliver.
What You’ll Do
- Perform digital quantity takeoffs and build detailed cost estimates in eTakeoff and Sage Estimating
- Manage the Procore Preconstruction module, including vendor and subcontractor databases, pre-qualifications, bid invitations, the Bid Board, and all plans, specs, and addenda
- Maintain active communication with trade contractors and vendors
- Work with our Purchasing Manager to validate current material and labor pricing
- Review project budgets, evaluate cost efficiency, and help internal teams stay on financial targets
- Coordinate final bid deliveries, record bid tabulations, and issue bid status notifications
- Follow all ARG Construction policies and procedures
What You Bring
- Proven experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, and bid preparation
- Proficiency in Procore (Preconstruction, Bid Board, Planroom), eTakeoff, and Sage Estimating
- Strong skills with database and spreadsheet software
- Clear written and verbal communication for vendor outreach and team coordination
- An analytical mindset and the ability to find cost savings without compromising quality
