Our client is an innovative and growing medical device company dedicated to improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge technology. As they continue to expand, we seek a strategic and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial excellence and support our ambitious growth plans.
Position Overview :
The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring fiscal sustainability. The ideal candidate is a CPA-qualified professional with a strong background in financial leadership within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with operational execution to optimize profitability, cash flow, and shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), tax, treasury, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, SEC, and other relevant standards.
- Lead capital allocation strategies, including fundraising, debt management, and investor relations.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and market trends.
- Implement robust financial controls and processes to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational and commercial excellence.
- Lead M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-merger integration.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and other key stakeholders.
