About the Company :

Our client is an innovative and growing medical device company dedicated to improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge technology. As they continue to expand, we seek a strategic and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial excellence and support our ambitious growth plans.

Position Overview :

The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial activities, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring fiscal sustainability. The ideal candidate is a CPA-qualified professional with a strong background in financial leadership within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with operational execution to optimize profitability, cash flow, and shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), tax, treasury, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, SEC, and other relevant standards.
  • Lead capital allocation strategies, including fundraising, debt management, and investor relations.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and market trends.
  • Implement robust financial controls and processes to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational and commercial excellence.
  • Lead M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-merger integration.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • CPA qualification is required; MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and business transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the healthcare / medical device space.
  • Experience in capital markets, fundraising, and M&A transactions.
  • Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
