Arethusa al tavolo is located in the town of Bantam in Litchfield, Connecticut. We are a fine dining restaurant that prides itself on both its cuisine and its service. We feature and celebrate the dairy products from our own Arethusa Farm, home to Grand Champion Show Cows and their award winning dairy products. Since opening in June 2013, our reputation has become noted as one of the premier restaurants in the state, as well as nationwide by earning Open Tables Top 100 Restaurants in the Country list 4 consecutive years; as well as Best Overall Restaurant, according to Open Table ratings and its reviewers. Our clientele are discerning and sophisticated.

Host Responsibilties:
-Reservationist
-Answer phone and schedule reservations to best optimize turn times and covers
-Place confirmation calls for upcoming dates
-Transcribe and return all messages promptly and professionally
-Correspond with to go orders via email and telephone
-Gather address and process payment for gift cards
-Plot the dining floor for service as well as checking weather for patio
During service:
-Welcome and check in all guests
-Seat guests appropriately & ask water preference
-Maintain balance in server sections whenever possible
-Clear and reset tables
-Polish silverware and glassware at the end of the shift
-Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment to provide an exceptionally distinctive guest experience by: demonstrating genuine hospitality to every single guest, making them feel welcome at the door, engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion and always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return.
Availability:
Tuesday – Saturday 12pm – 9pm
*weekends a must
Job Type: Part-time
