URGENT-Dishwasher-Fulltime

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join our team at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Dishwashers will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas while supporting a busy food-service operation.

The ideal candidate is dependable, works well with a team, follows sanitation and safety procedures, and can maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Available Shifts

Sunday – Friday

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM: 2 positions available
• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM: 2 positions available
• 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM: 2 positions available

Saturdays

• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: 2 positions available

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean and sanitary dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Follow all food-service sanitation and safety procedures.
• Properly handle cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Remove trash and keep work areas organized.
• Assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods.
• Follow instructions and maintain a professional and dependable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Compensation

$16.00 per hour
