What are the responsibilities and job description for the KLXS Office Administrator position at ARES Corporation?
The KLXS Program Management Office (PMO) supports NASA's Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) at the Kennedy Space Flight Center in Florida. Our office is instrumental in helping NASA prepare Artemis to send astronauts back to the moon. We manage over 100 employees and report to multiple customers requiring a strong administrative function to ensure robust PMO operations.
Responsibilities include providing a broad range of administrative assistant functions to the KLXS contract, including such functions as badging, deliverable preparation, onboarding/exiting, and support of most PMO activities. This job requires a multitasking mindset and strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must have strong initiative and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent multi-tasker
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at the Kennedy Space Center
- PMO experience
- This is an onsite job at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Education and Relevant Work Experience:
- 2 years administrative assistant experience or equivalent.
