ARES is recruiting for a Contract Manager with Government contract experience for a short-term assignment assisting with upcoming contract phase-ins. The selected individual will be responsible for: Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing a broad range of contracts and agreementsCompleting comprehensive reviews of customer contracts and terms and conditions Providing interpretation of contract terms and conditions to management and other functional groups.Advising and assisting management on contractual matters including compiling and analyzing data/information; maintaining historical information/files; and task order planningQualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of three years of directly relevant experience in a contracts management position.Experience in contracting with the U.S. government; experience in aerospace is desired.Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).Experience with Cost Plus contracts.Knowledge of Federal contract formation and proposal preparation. Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.Strong planning and organization skills. Proven attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization, including ability to effectively interact with and engage senior management both internally and externally on key issues during the contract and compliance process.Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.ARES Benefits:ARES offers a competitive compensation and benefit package.
