Job Description
Position Summary
The Associate will support the oversight and execution of the firm’s real estate investment and fund activities through financial analysis, thoughtful evaluation of asset and fund performance, and hands‑on involvement in transactions and reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining models and projections, enhancing data and analytics infrastructure, and partnering across teams to deliver clear insights to internal stakeholders and investors. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct financial and performance analysis
Review annual asset plans and assess strategy; provide strategic input into major decisions
Support transaction analysis and execution, including detailed hold/sell analyses, buyouts, financings, and re-financings
Develop and maintain fund-level analysis, such as projected fund and asset-level returns, forecasting liquidity / equity deployment, debt analytics
Assist in quarterly processes, including valuations utilizing Argus / Excel and investor reporting
Help to build and maintain data systems and dashboards
Collaborate with external and internal parties, including JV partners, Acquisitions / Development teams, Finance, and Investor Relations
Work with in-house asset management teams to learn certain markets and sectors, including detailed understanding of product type, supply, and demand
Other special projects and initiatives
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1 to 4 years of applicable work experience, preferably in commercial real estate (investment, asset management, portfolio management) or investment banking
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, data science, or related field or equivalent experience
Strong Excel model building skills, PowerPoint presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Experience with Argus preferred
Ability to build and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners; strong communication skills
Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail
Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$110,000.00 - $140,000.00
